About Me

I am David Solomon Yakabu, a technology entrepreneur, software engineer, and web application developer, and the Director of SolexGift Tech Limited, a technology brand focused on building practical digital solutions that help individuals, businesses, and institutions work more efficiently.

My journey in technology is grounded in practical problem-solving. I am interested in identifying everyday processes that are slow, repetitive, or prone to errors and using software, automation, and well-structured digital systems to make them simpler, more reliable, and easier to manage. My areas of work include web application development, database-driven systems, Excel automation, academic record management, application hosting, and technology support.

I am from Okokolo, Agatu Local Government Area, Benue State, Nigeria, and my educational background includes a Diploma in Computer Operation from ENE Success and Son Tech Limited and a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in Computer Science Education from the Federal College of Education, Odugbo. I am also a Certified Software Engineer from Digihub Technology Solution.

Beyond my technical work, I have professional management experience as the General Manager of ENE Success and Son Tech Limited. In my current role as Director of SolexGift Tech Limited, I focus on developing technology solutions, managing projects, and applying digital tools to real-world challenges.

My completed projects include the Christ the King Result Management System, the FCE Odugbo Matric Number Automation Workbook, and the SolexGift Tech Local Server. These projects reflect my interest in using software and automation to improve academic administration, reduce repetitive tasks, and make applications easier to deploy and manage across local networks.

I am also interested in AI-assisted development and workflow automation, using these tools thoughtfully to improve productivity and support the development of useful, dependable systems.

I believe technology should do more than look impressive—it should solve real problems and deliver practical value.
